• Our textiles are made to order in the USA in our studio in Northwest Connecticut
• Our digital pigment printing process is the most sustainable textile printing technique, as it uses less energy,
produces zero water waste and has a small overall carbon footprint.
• This process virtually eliminates the consumption of water and the discharge of noxious effluents (liquid waste
discharged into a river or sea), by using low volumes of liquid dispersions of pigment colours, resulting in a
positive environmental impact.
• The streamlined technology includes a softener that is applied in-line during the printing process, providing an
extremely efficient and eco-friendly solution to creating a softer hand feel.
Please see below for production orders of approved SKUs. For more on ordering strike-offs, see Placing A Strike-off PO.
Production Minimums
Samples
Suggested sample ydg quantity: 15 yds per SKU* can be combined crop / continuous yardage
Production
Minimum production ydg quantity: 2 yds
*Please note: we do not apply our $75 set-up fee to textile orders
We produce continuous yardage, and aim to print the longest bolt possible up to the maximum bolt size per ground material. When digitally printing on natural fibers, there are a number of factors that may create small flaws while printing. We will always aim to print the longest run possible, but similar to grasscloth- when printing on natural fibers, the fibers may shift, threads may become loose, exposing areas of omit. We are fastidious about our QC procedures, so we always ensure we produce extra yardage to accommodate for potential flaws that we have to cut out. In some cases, we will ship as multiple bolts, with a minimum bolt size of 3 yards.
Purchase Order Submission Requirements
All production orders (to be placed only when strike-offs have been approved) should be submitted as PDFs to orders@twenty2.net. Our Customer Liaison team will confirm receipt and provide the ship date once all information necessary for production has been received.
Each Purchase Order (PO) should include:
- A unique PO number that will be used to reference each order
- Total printed quantity in yards for each SKU
- Include pattern name, color way name and ground width/material
- Minimum cut length(s), if applicable*
- Sampling: see SAMPLE PO
- Include pattern name, color way name and ground width/material
- Price by the yard (please reference our 2024 Price Guide)
- Any additional fees, such as
- Rush order fee per SKU
- Design time, if applicable
- Shipping details, including
- Carrier (FedEx or UPS)
- Ship-to speed (ex: UPS Ground)
- Shipping and billing addresses
- $13 Packing fee(s)
Please submit a corresponding packing slip / packing list at the time of PO submission. The packing slip should include all of the above, with the exception of twenty2's pricing.

It's crucial for us to know the minimum length piece(s) required to fulfill it's intended use. These lengths must be included on your PO. For instance, if the yardage is being used for 9' curtains, that's critical information for us to have on the PO (though we will never ship pieces under 3 yards for longer runs).
Production Lead Time
Textile production lead time is subject to change dependent on order volume and our current queue. We will make every effort to let you know if we anticipate shifts to this schedule.
- Standard production: 3 weeks
- Rush production ($325 rush fee per SKU): 1 weeks
Matching to a previous order?
When we need to produce additional yardage to match a prior order, we use the cutting from the first order as our sample to match to. Although variables exist that do prevent an exact match, we do our very best.
Enough wallpaper should be ordered so that the two dye lots are not installed side by side on a flat wall. The paperhanger should always merge the two lots in a discrete location, such as in a corner or around a window, and order more if necessary to allow for this.
